This affordable tutoring service at Q.E.T.S offers you a password protected Math Study Center, a study plan, daily lessons, the regular exchange of email messages, secure instant messaging, and weekly telephone and/or online classroom sessions with the GED Instructor. All instruction is provided in English by a certified teacher with many years of classroom and online teaching experience.

» When you begin your first month of instruction at Q.E.T.S, a personal Math Study Center is set up for your use. There you will access your assignments, listen to audio clips, view presentations, and download study materials that have been created to meet your needs. You will also be able to answer quiz questions and send comments directly to your GED Math Instructor.

» The GED Instructor will answer your questions, suggest test-taking strategies, and guide you through the GED Mathematics Test preparation process.

Course Objectives:

The course objectives will vary according to your needs, but generally focus on the mathematics and calculator skills that you must master in order to pass the GED Mathematics Test.

Course Activities:

	You will be assigned a password protected personal Math Study Center at Q.E.T.S.
	Your GED Instructor will develop a personal Study Plan to guide you through the test preparation process.
	The GED Instructor will maintain monthly calendar pages with your Study Schedule.
	Daily Lessons will be posted that reinforce course objectives and help you develop the skills needed for success on the GED Mathematics Test.
	Key mathematical terms will be posted on the Vocabulary page for each lesson along with flash card files and online crossword puzzles.
	Textbook assignments for each new lesson will be posted on the Practice page.
	The Quiz page will provide instructions for completing progress tests and allow you to send your answers directly to the GED Instructor for review.
	The GED Instructor will review your quiz results and prepare follow-up activities based on any problems noted. You can always expect a next-day Analysis of your performance.
	Review activities will be posted to help you focus on those math subject areas, computational skills, and calculator steps that need more work.
	Links will be provided for online follow-up and enrichment activities on the Internet. The Online activities selected are sure to add variety and fun to your study of mathematics.
	Study materials required for this course are posted on the study Tools page along with links to other useful resources.

Evaluation Methods:

A pretest and posttest, lesson quizzes, unit cumulative tests, and practice versions of the GED Mathematics Test will be the source of periodic course progress evaluation. All of these progress evaluation tests are included in the course textbook.
